Given the changing global demand, geo-political shifts and Pakistan’s comparative advantage in sports goods manufacturing, it was a perfect time to start production of world class sports shoes in Pakistan to give a boost to Pakistan’s exports. This agreement will not only lead to expansion of Forward Sports to add another strong line of business, it will open up a new sector for future exports growth. Pakistan should aim for capturing USD10 billion market share in the global exports of sports and lifestyle shoes.
